Visionary director James Wan challenged us to bridge ocean life with technology. We heavily referenced deep sea organisms that live below the photic zone of the ocean. Their forms and bio-luminescent beauty helped us set the tone for a multitude of designs. Including Orm’s ship, the battle cruiser Throne Room, Black Manta’s HUD and more.
